The weather cooperated just in time for me to take Teddie's senior pictures. It had been a dreary, rainy Saturday, and the forecast couldn't seem to make up its mind about what the rain was going to do in the evening. The rain let up just in time, though, and we decided to go for it.
We went to Foster Park, where we could take advantage of the gardens and outdoor scenery. The sun was just peeking through the post-rain clouds, and after the rain all the grass and trees were bright green and the flowers were vibrant. And the sky looked really neat! It gave us plenty of gentle evening light to work with, and some unique clouds as the sun started to set.
This was the first of my fall portrait sessions, and I am really happy with the results! Teddie was a lovely subject and the weather made the scenery pop with color. The deep greens and moody sky are a unique way to look at fall scenery, and the wet, squishy ground added a nice early fall texture to the look of the gardens.
The leaves are starting to change. If you're looking for senior or family portraits featuring fall scenery, contact me as soon as possible! It's a popular time of year and my schedule is filling up!
