I took Colin's pictures on a gorgeous evening in downtown Fort Wayne. We started out in the courtyard prayer garden at Trinity English Church. It is such a gorgeous little spot, and easy to miss from the street if you're not looking for it. But inside there are stone hallways, benches, and landscaping that make it a scenic place for a photo shoot.
After we finished in the courtyard, we went over to Friemann Square to take advantage of the urban scenery in the middle of downtown. The light was fading a little faster than I had anticipated due to all the tall buildings around, but we got some great urban shots featuring the Fort Wayne courthouse.
And, finally, we had just enough light left to take one more photo that caught the last bit of sunset in Fort Wayne. We crossed the street to find the best light in the area, and I had to shoot between the cars driving down Main Street.
It had been a while since I had been able to take photos downtown, and I loved getting to use the little courtyard. Colin was a super-chill subject to work with and willing to try everything I suggested. If there had been more time and more light, it would have been great to explore downtown a little more. Fort Wayne has a lot of great locations to offer.
